Goldi Locks and The Three Bears
Once, in a house, surrounded by trees, there lived a family of Bears - the Daddy Bear, the Mummy Bear and the Baby Bear. After making lunch, they went out roaming through the forest. Away from the forest, there also lived a lady, in a small fancy house. She had a daughter with golden hair. That was why she was called Goldilocks.

One day, Goldilocks wanted to go for a walk through the forest. Addressing the mother, she said, "well, Mama, I am going to the forest. On return, I will bring a beautiful bunch of flowers for you."

"Very nice, my dear little daughter, but mind that you will not go too far and get lost," the mother warned. In the forest, she picked white Flowers for her mother.

A good deal of time was spent on collecting flowers. She was tired, hungry and thirsty. By chance, she saw a small house, a little away in the forest. She tried to peep through the keyhole. Thinking nobody there, she pushed open the door and entered the room.

There, she found a big table with three bowls of rice and honey. The bowls were of three different sizes -big, medium and small. Pretty Goldilocks looked very tired. She tried to sit on the big armchair. But the chair was too hard and uncomfortable for her. She went for the medium chair. Its cushion was very soft.

She felt sliding around on it. This forced her to change it for the small one. But as she was too heavy the legs of the chair broke under the load and she was almost down the floor. Little Goldilocks was very hungry.

She ran to the table and tasted a spoonful of rice and sweet pudding from the big bowl. It was very hot. It burnt her tongue. She left it for the medium one, but it was heavy and lumpy. She skipped towards the little one and found the sweet dish very tasty. She almost ate it up, sparing not even a drop of it. Hunger and thirst over, she then wanted a short nap to remove her tiredness. She went in a room where she found beds of three different sizes. She picked up the big one but it was hard and uneasy. She changed it for the medium size bed. But its blanket was very scratchy. So she had to go on to the little bed. It was warm and comfortable. And there she was sound asleep.

The very moment the real inmates of the house who were out roaming entered. They got a scent of someone' s presence. They began searching and sniffing everywhere. The Daddy Bear shouted, "someone sat on my chair." A cry from the Mummy Bear was heard, "someone has touched my cushion." Lastly, the Baby Bear came out in his weak little voice and almost weeping, "Look someone has broken my chair."

All three then turned to the lai out table with delicious dishes. "Someone has used my spoon," howled the Daddy Bear in a big way. "Someone has touched my bowl," said Mammy Bear gently. "And look someone has eaten up all my pudding and there is nothing left," cried the Baby Bear with a burst of tears.

Full of concern, they, at long last, went in the room, the Daddy Bear sniffed and howled in his loud voice, "someone has been on my pillow." Mummy Bear said, "someone has moved my blanket." And the Baby Bear, in all surprise said in a very low and sad voice," look, look, there is a little girl sleeping on my bed." Noises all around, Goldilocks woke up. Seeing the three mammals, she was frightened.

She at once jumped out of the bed and ran away into the forest and reached home.
